    POLAR SKATE CO.
    "MANHATTAN DAYS"
    Dir: Pontus Alv
    Music: Dungeon Attic - Forever
    Year: 2014

With more and more snippets of information flowing through my Instagram feed daily, I knew immediately that the Converse x Polar collaboration would be a go-to talking point within the skateboarding community.

Filmed entirely using Super-8, Pontus and Co dropped the accompanying short film to the shoes, alongside the re-up of the company’s website this morning.

Exploring New York, with "Happy/Sad Around the World" kickers under arm, the crew seek out and search for the rugged spots that The Big Apple has to offer. Latest pro Aaron Herrington steals the show, demonstrating some intense Wallie-Rail combinations, with Kevin Rodrigues close at hand throwing down some mind boggling Fakie Shuv-it No-Complies.

Limited numbers of the Converse shoes and T-Shirts are now available, but are almost certainly set to be sold out.

Following the example of Polar’s previous videos, Pontus has yet again set the bar high.

Speed dial your skateboarding companions, grab your deck and set out to dominate your home terrain. This one is sure to get you fired up.
